A family out there….
In keeping with its decade old tradition of arranging a platform for interaction between the existing students and the alumnus of the college, MGMIMSR organizes its annual ‘Alumni Meet’.
The importance of the meet is not only limited to organizing a platform where the alumnus of the college can inspire and advice the current batches on the current trends in the corporate world, but also to instill the spirit of camaraderie and unity amongst the existing batches.
The alumni’s also use this opportunity to provide a glimpse of the experiences they have gathered over the years starting from the time they have been a student of MGMIMSR to the time they attained the goals they had set for themselves.
This year, along with the alumni meet we inaugurated our P.G. programme. It’s a matter of pride for us to mention that the inaugural function was done by our very own alumni, Mr.Vivek Patil, Regional Sales Manager, ICICI Bank Ltd.
‘Nothing in life comes easy’ is the general advice, which the alumni provides the current batches, but when coupled with ‘Working hard will attain goals’, it provides the current batches the hopes and aspirations to succeed on their own merit.
SANCHETNA
Magazine, as they say is the mirror of writer’s mind, so is the case with our Annual college Magazine Sanchetna – “ Enlightening the Future” is our reflection.

CULTURAL COMMITTEE
Involvement of students in all activities of the institute has been a new strategic initiative at MGMIMSR with a view to achieve the desired goal of moving towards excellence. There are many reasons for the same, it ensures student ownership of the institute, secondly it ensures growth of the organization through new refreshing ideas from the youth and finally it develops administrative skills among them.
MGM intends to promote student development
through offering a wide array of campus programs, activities, and support
services that encourage intellectual, emotional, personal social, cultural
growth among its students. Students of

The cultural committee consists of a team of five members. There is a team coordinator who controls all the events, discusses the issues with the team members and the staff.
The factor which differentiates a management course from other courses is its ability to go outside the confinements of the classroom and bring in practical knowledge to supplement the theoretical knowledge.
At MGMIMSR management education is not only imparted in the regular classrooms held but also by inviting leading personalities from the world of marketing, finance, human resource and information technology.
The guest lecture council has the tough task of quenching the “thirst for knowledge” ever present in the student at MGMIMSR.
