Mahatma Gandhi Institute Of Management Studies and Research (MGM IMSR), an ISO 9001:2000 certified B School, was established in 1994 under the Mahatma Gandhi Mission’s umbrella of educational institutes. The institute conducts two-year full time Master of Management Studies(MMS) program affiliated to the University of Mumbai and recognized by the AICTE. It also conducts a full-time autonomous Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM)

The MGM IMSR within a short span of 7 years has carved a niche for itself in the academic world due to its unique work of philosophy and deep seated commitment towards realizing and fulfilling the goals set.

The Institute is housed in 20 acre composite campus at Junction NH-4 & Sion Panvel Express way and is provided with state-of-art infrastructure facilities.

The class rooms are spacious set with comfortable chairs designed for the comfort of the budding managers. Also the class room are equipped with the latest technological devices like the overhead projectors , computers, & L.C.Ds.

The library is well equipped with up-to-date books, periodicals , journals (44) & educational CDs (22) catering to the literary needs of participants. The 2788 titles and 4031 books can be accessed quickly through the state-of-the-art Library Management Software

The computer center with more than 60 computers is based on a LAN environment which helps the course participants to be familiarized with a computer based information system . The 24_ hours Internet facility provided to the students aids them in keeping abreast of the latest happenings in the world around them.

Hostel facilities for 20 boys and 20 girls are available for out-station students within a walking distance of 5 minutes from the institute.
